This was the first email in our redesigned onboarding email drip campaign. It's a good general overview. And the idea there was, it's like when you're giving a presentation and there's that structure of, "tell me what you're going tell me," then "tell me," then "tell me what you told me."

This welcome email is the "tell me what you're going tell me" part. So it just kind of covers everything in one place. They get that overview and hopefully get excited about the product.

This is a nice best practice. I think when you're going to be sending people a series of emails, you might want to let them know that they should expect those. And that way, if they don't want to get those, they can just unsubscribe right away. They don't keep getting emails that they don't want.

The CTA here is to go explore example dashboards. The idea there was... we wanted to get people excited about what's possible in the product by showing them a dashboard, which is like the end state of what they could do. Some of the steps that come before that end state are connecting their data, etc. And we were hoping that by showing them example dashboards, they're going be more motivated to actually take on some of those steps that are pretty high friction. And so that's why we wanted to start here in the Welcome email.
