I experimented with different to-do lists/kanban boards, etc., but after some time, all tactics stopped working. When I finally put effort into polishing this PM task management system, I found the system that stuck. I use this this to-do list daily. By streamlining tasks and optimizing efficiency, it empowers product managers to enhance productivity.

Each Friday, I define goals for the next week. At each end of the day, I define the #1 goal for tomorrow, and that’s the first thing I try to do. Planning both weekly and daily is key. Both are short-term, but the daily goal helps break down larger goals into the most important and immediate next step.

This essentially becomes my daily to-do list. After the #1 daily goal, these are all the next most important things.

This section contains anything that hasn’t yet been prioritized, but that I know I’d like to do soon.

If you park things you are waiting for here (e.g., A/B test results), you won’t forget them.

Some conversations simply take time. Track them here.

This section ensures you never forget about the big picture (your strategy and roadmap. You can map out initiatives in the discovery and delivery phases, and color code/sort them based on urgency, time, metric, or whatever works best for you.
