PM hiring results in mishires all too often. Why? And how to resolve it?
The Solution is a framework that considers the following:
- For every skill a person is not a has or has not, but takes their place on the skill progression from 1 to 10.
- For critical skills, the skill level caps the level of seniority of a person - even if other skills are at a superpower level. * There is critical thinking and other basic skills that are foundational and are often forgotten in the interview process -> let's fix this. [see them in color below]
- Typical job descriptions are too vague; we could decompose the skills that they list.
