One of the things I wanted to make sure to communicate was that I could approach hard problems in a structured way. As basic as it sounds, I purposefully wrote down the questions and put a box around each one I was going to tackle to keep myself on track and document my process through the prompt in an orderly way (in reality, my mind isn't that linear!).

I chose "alignment" as the most important thing to optimize for in because I could see how misalignment in these areas could break the business. Also, I had seen where misalignment had done severe damage in other businesses and this gave me an opportunity to talk to those first hand experiences.
