Revnew started in 2020. I joined last year, October 2022. Revnew was focusing only on outbound marketing strategy - emailing, calling, LinkedIn marketing. They were getting results, but it was crucial to implement inbound marketing. I prepared this marketing strategy to focus more on social media, SEO, and content distribution. That was the goal.


To implement anything, you need resources. We started hiring right away. Hiring people is very important and hiring the right talent is very important. We started immediately because it takes a lot of time to find the right candidate.


First I listed to our discovery sales calls with prospects. I understood their objections. I noted down all the concerns and challenges our target prospects are facing and prepared a list of topics (a content calendar) where I can address all the prospects' concerns.

I think the Jobs to be Done (JTBD) framework is much more effective than the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) framework.

Our customers know exactly what they want to buy and how they want to buy. This isn't the same for every company or every professional with the same title.

So we implemented the JTBDFramework instead of mapping ICP.

By implementing this framework, having strategic messaging, and answering prospect concerns, our inbound conversion rate is nearly 19%


We wanted to tap many channels, but we wanted to do it step by step. The best thing at the time was SEO because once you have a list of bottom-of-the-funnel keywords and a high-converting website, you can do a lot. We are a B2B company, so SEO and LinkedIn marketing with a well-researched content plan is working for us.
