We decided to architect the system to reduce long-term maintenance. We had conviction the evolution to PLG was correct so this option set us up to execute on that.

Naturally, everyone wants to get something up as quickly as possible. Most of our internal conversation was on the tradeoff between the time to launch and the chance of bugs. We explored how to do the quicker version on the right but ultimately decided the extra time to launch was worth it.
